Coming from the Midwestern US with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Psychology from University of Minnesota and a diverse marketing background, I completed an MBA in Leadership and Enterprise from the University of Sydney Business School in 2019 and a Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Wollongong in 2021. This path helped me to interpret evolving business trends, identify emerging opportunities for growth, and strengthen my coaching abilities to guide clients along their road to success. I am passionate about disruptive ventures who lead with business practices guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).


Professional and Volunteer Experience


Business Research Capstone

Assessed how Telstra can maintain its incumbency as high quality an RSP in the Australian fixed line ISP industry through a multi dimensional approach analyzing its concentration of POI using Google My Maps, bargaining forces using a Porter’s 5 Forces model, service disruption using a value chain model, industry positioning, and competitor likelihood of bankruptcy using Altman Z-Scores. Insights were gathered from interviews with industry professionals and a comprehensive literature review.


Sustainable Entrepreneurs Online Event

Hosted a Zoom event on entrepreneurial ventures with sustainability driven business strategies and recruited Dale Schilling (Founder and CEO of Hillridge Technology), Mel Fyfe (Co-Founder and CEO of blakthumb), and Eric Phu (Co-Founder at Citizen Wolf) as guest speakers. This event was a collaboration with the University of Sydney Business School MBA Earth Guardians Club.


evokeAG 2020

As Hillridge’s Strategic Marketing Manager, I promoted their technology to an audience of farmers and AgTech enthusiasts interested in parametric weather insurance products entering the Australian market at evokeAG 2020 in Melbourne. Engagement with attendees and collaborators helped gauge interest in the current product offering as well as potential new products that would offer a lifeline to independent Australian farmers.


QBE Workshop on SDGs

Provided a valuable feedback to QBE executives and the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia on implementing corporate business practices in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.


University of Sydney Corporate Recognition Dinner

Moderated a brief workshop with financial industry professionals on the topic of engendering trust in the Australian banking industry and presented our insights on behalf of the MBA program at the University of Sydney Corporate Recognition Dinner.


Tetra Tech

Provided a management consultant perspective for Eco Logical Australia, an ecology firm who had been recently acquired by Tetra Tech. Assessed the firm’s external environment by evaluating their competitive landscape using strategic frameworks, and gained a deeper understanding of their internal environment by interviewing key account managers, office managers, and regional managers. Insights and recommendations were presented to Tetra Tech executives and implemented in Coffey’s five-year strategic plan.
