Used a multi-framework approach to highlight areas of operational improvement and emphasize potential M&A opportunities reinforced by a competitor likelihood of bankruptcy analysis. Insights were gathered from interviews with industry professionals, and presented key Telstra contacts and partners.
Sustainable Entrepreneurs Online Panel
Hosted a Zoom event on entrepreneurial ventures with sustainability driven business strategies and recruited Dale Schilling (Founder and CEO of Hillridge Technology), Mel Fyfe (Co-Founder and CEO of blakthumb), and Eric Phu (Co-Founder at Citizen Wolf) as guest speakers. This event was a collaboration with the University of Sydney Business School MBA Earth Guardians Club.
As Hillridge’s Strategic Marketing Manager, I promoted their technology to an audience of farmers and AgTech enthusiasts interested in parametric weather insurance products entering the Australian market at evokeAG 2020 in Melbourne. Engagement with attendees and collaborators helped gauge interest in the current product offering as well as potential new products that would offer a lifeline to independent Australian farmers.
QBE Workshop on SDGs
Provided a valuable feedback to QBE executives and the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia on implementing corporate business practices in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
University of Sydney Corporate Recognition Dinner
Moderated a brief workshop with financial industry professionals on the topic of engendering trust in the Australian banking industry and presented our insights on behalf of the MBA program at the University of Sydney Corporate Recognition Dinner.
Consulted for Eco Logical Australia, an ecology firm who had been recently acquired by Tetra Tech. Assessed external environment by evaluating the competitive landscape using strategic frameworks, and gained a deeper understanding of their internal environment by interviewing key account managers, office managers, and regional managers. Insights and recommendations were presented to Tetra Tech executives and implemented in Coffey’s five-year strategic plan.
